This Ninja Creami blueberry ice cream is thick, creamy, and packed with real blueberry flavor. No pudding mix, no gums, no stabilizers, just fresh or frozen berries blended with a few simple ingredients, frozen overnight, and spun into a naturally deep purple ice cream.
If you're already making strawberry or mango ice cream in your Creami, this blueberry version deserves a permanent spot in the rotation.

- Creamy but Not Heavy: Thick texture without feeling like a splurge.

This Recipe Is for the 24 oz Ninja Creami Deluxe
This recipe is written for the 24 oz Ninja Creami Deluxe pint. If you’re using the standard 16 oz Ninja Creami pint, make about ⅔ of the base (or pour the extra into a second pint and freeze it for later).
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Blueberries – fresh or frozen; both work great
- Half and half – keeps it creamy without being too rich (heavy cream works too)
- Cottage cheese – blends smooth and adds protein
- Vanilla extract – rounds out the fruit flavor
- Sweetened condensed milk – for sweetness and that classic ice cream texture
- Monk fruit sweetener – optional, for adjusting sweetness
See recipe card for quantities.
Easy Swaps & Add-Ins
- Swap cottage cheese for Greek yogurt for a tangier base
- Use coconut milk for a dairy-free version
- Replace condensed milk with maple syrup or honey
- Try raspberries or blackberries instead of blueberries
How to Make Blueberry Ice Cream Using Ninja Creami
- In a blender, combine blueberries, half and half, cottage cheese, vanilla extract, condensed milk and monk fruit. Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, making sure it does not exceed the max fill line.
- Place the pint container in the freezer and freeze for at least 18-24 hours.
- After freezing, remove the pint container from the freezer and place it into the Ninja Creami machine. Attach the pint holder lid and lock it into place. Select the "Lite Ice Cream" setting and let the Ninja Creami process the mixture. *see notes
- Scoop the Blueberry ice cream into bowls and top with your favorite toppings
NOTE: If your mixture is still crumbly after the first spin, just hit the "Respin" button and keep going until it’s nice and creamy. Adding a tablespoon of cream or milk can help speed things up.
Normally, if you let it sit out for 5 to 10 minutes after taking it out of the freezer, it usually won't need any spin.
Topping & Mix-In Ideas
- Fresh Blueberries: For extra bursts of fruit in every bite.
- Graham Cracker Pieces: Adds crunch and a cheesecake-like note.
- White Chocolate Chips: A sweeter contrast to the tart berries.
- Lemon Zest: Brightens the blueberry flavor even more.
- Crushed Almonds or Pecans: For texture.
- Honey Drizzle: A little extra sweetness on top.
- Coconut Flakes: Adds a light, toasted contrast if you toast them first.
Equipment
- Ninja CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1 Ice Cream & Frozen Treat Maker: This will help you achieve the perfect creamy texture and mix-in distribution for your ice cream.
- Blender: Perfect for blending the ice cream base to a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Ninja Creami Pint Container: The pint container is essential for freezing and churning your ice cream mix.
