Ingredients
Here’s what you will need:
- Blackberries: Fresh or frozen, for that deliciously tangy and sweet berry flavor. Substitute with raspberries or blueberries if desired.
- Soy Milk: Provides a smooth, light base. Substitute with almond milk, oat milk, or your favorite plant-based milk.
- Heavy Cream: Adds richness and a creamy texture. You can use coconut cream for a dairy-free version.
- Condensed Milk: Sweetens the ice cream and keeps it soft. Use a sugar-free version if preferred or swap with sweetened coconut condensed milk.
- Cottage Cheese: Adds creaminess and a slight tang, helping to keep the ice cream rich but not overly heavy. Substitute with Greek yogurt if you prefer.

How to Make Blackberry Ice Cream In Ninja Creami
- Prepare the Base: In a blender, combine the blackberries, soy milk, heavy cream, condensed milk, cottage cheese, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy. For a chunkier texture, pulse a few blackberries and add them after blending.
- Freeze: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, ensuring it’s filled just below the max fill line. Secure the lid and freeze on a level surface for at least 18-24 hours to ensure it's solid.
- Process in Ninja Creami: Remove the container from the freezer and attach it to the Ninja Creami machine. Use the “Ice Cream” setting for the first spin. If the texture isn’t creamy enough, use the re-spin function once or twice for a perfect, creamy consistency.
- Serve: Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones, and enjoy immediately. Store any leftovers in the Ninja Creami container with the storage lid securely fastened.
Toppings and Mix-in Suggestions
- Fresh Blackberries: Add a few whole blackberries on top for extra fruity goodness and a pop of color.
- Chopped Nuts: Sprinkle with chopped almonds, pecans, or pistachios for a crunchy texture and nutty flavor.
- Shredded Coconut: A sprinkle of unsweetened shredded coconut adds a tropical twist and extra creaminess.
- Dark Chocolate Chips: Mix in some sugar-free dark chocolate chips for a decadent chocolate and berry combination.
- Whipped Cream: A dollop of fresh whipped cream on top takes this ice cream to the next level of indulgence.
- Mint Leaves: Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing and visually appealing touch.
💪🏼Make It High Protein
- Add Protein Powder: Mix in a scoop of vanilla or unflavored protein powder to boost the protein content without altering the flavor.
- Use Fairlife Milk: Swap soy milk with protein-packed alternative.
- Incorporate Collagen: Stir in a tablespoon of collagen powder to add a protein boost without affecting the flavor or texture.
- Use Greek Yogurt: Swap half or all of the cottage cheese with high-protein Greek yogurt for a creamy and protein-packed alternative.
👍🏼Make It Less Sugar
- Replace Condensed Milk: Substitute with evaporated milk and a low-calorie sweetener like monk fruit, stevia, or erythritol to lower the sugar content.
- Adjust Sweetener: Use a natural sweetener like monk fruit, and feel free to decrease the amount according to your taste to keep the dessert light on sugar.

- Blackberry Cheesecake Ice Cream: Incorporate cream cheese and crushed graham crackers for a decadent dessert.
- Blackberry Mint Ice Cream: Blend in fresh mint leaves for a cool, minty flavor with your berries.
