Costcos Rotisserie Chicken in Sioux Falls, SD is gross. I will never buy one from Costco again! They had pin feathers all over the legs and I mean a lot! You would have thought someone would have seen that while putting it on the rotisserie. I got it home unpackaged the chicken and couldn’t believe it. Threw it in the garbage. GROSSS

Yikes, that sounds super disappointing! I’d be totally grossed out too if I found feathers like that. Hopefully it was just a one-time slip-up at that location.

Coq au vin. Lots of recipes for it using a rotisserie chicken. Your first step is to Brown a bunch of chicken parts and that's already been done for you cut up your rotisserie checking into parts and proceed with your favorite recipe.
Lots of recipes have you start off by cutting a chicken into parts and Browning them like this one...they're equally applicable.

Thanks so much for sharing that tip! I haven’t tried making Coq au Vin with rotisserie chicken before, but now I’m really curious—it sounds like a great idea and such a time-saver. I might just give it a go next time!
